Weigh-in rules and Regulations
Field Manager will verify the weight of each player.
Both coaches or a representative from each team will verify the zero weight of the scale.
Both coaches or a representative from each team will provide an up-to-date roster for the opposing coach.
Only one player on or near the scale at a time. Step up fully and completely on the scale.
(The league age of a player shall be his/her age on Aug 31st of the current season.)
1. All players in the 3rd and 4th grade 10 years of age and under are eligible.
2. Any 2nd grader over 8 years of age is eligible.
3. All players in the 5th and 6th grade 12 years of age and under are eligible.
4. Players are limited to their own school district unless they attend a school that is not a part of our league.
Third & Fourth Grade - No minimum weight to play. Maximum weight to play - 120 pounds. Maximum weight to run the ball - 100 pounds.
Fifth & Sixth Grade- No minimum weight to play. Maximum weight to play (Offensive line and Defense)- 140 pounds. Maximum weight to run the ball - 120 pounds.
**Any player over 140 pounds can only play OfFensive Tackle.**
(Players overweight for 3/4 and 5/6 for ball carrying positions may not line up in an offensive position that is eligible to carry the ball. If a player over ball carrying weight is on defense and receives a ball by fumble or interception, he/she may not run the ball back. The ball is dead.)
